On Monday 24th October we had a very special day at school - UN Day. It is special because we celebrate the differences in our countries and cultures. All the students and teachers were invited to come to school wearing their traditional costumes. Parents were invited for the whole afternoon, they followed their children while they were 'travelling' to different countries. There were lots of activities in each country and a variety of traditional food. We finished the day off by watching the performance of Korean drummers, Irish and Korean dancing and a song sang by the whole primary school. It was a very special day that we will remember for a long time and it was a good fun too! Below you can see the photos of some of the activities that we did during the day.
Look at how special we looked!
